Hi RAAM Fans ...
Hot Item -- Three Teams started with the Solo Riders on Thursday. Team
Gustavo RMO is a 2 Man Relay Team from Brazil. Team Secure Horizons / SCOR is a 4 man
team of over 70 Year Old Riders from Southern California (These guys are
amazing!!). Team 70+ is a 4 man tam of over 70 Year Old Riders from all over
the U.S.A. (And these guys are also amazing!!) Since these teams have more than
one rider in them, it doesn't seem fair to mix them into an Overall Report
with the Solo Riders so I will leave them in their Divisional report sections. I am
open to suggestions on how best to handle this but it has been reported that some
Newspapers are picking up that Team Gustavo RMO is in First Place.
Hot Item -- Gerry Tatrai, The Wonder From Down Under (Australia), holds a 40
Minute lead on Seana Hogan in Second Place overall, at Time Station 5
(Dateland, AZ), 342 miles into the race.
Hot Item -- Tom Buckley has passed Rob Kish, Andreas Clavedetscher, Danny
Chew, and Steve Born to come in Third Place overall behind Seana Hogan.
Hot Item -- Steve Born has passed Andreas Clavedetscher and Danny Chew to come
in Fourth Place overall behind Tom Buckley.
Hot Item -- Last Year's Men's Champion Wolfgang Fasching is running into
problems having dropped from 9th Place Overall to 21st Place. He is currently
about 140 Miles behind the leaders.
Hot Item -- Paul Solon started slow but has moved up from 18th to 12th Place
Overall.
Hot Item -- Tomas Celta, the first Czech rider to race in RAAM, is definitely
running into problems as he is only through Time Station 1 so he is at least
250 miles behind the leaders.
Hot Item -- In the 70+ Division, Team Secure Horizons leads Team 70+ by about
2 Hours at Time Station 4.

Club and headed by Larry Mahrenholtz. The Web Site is totally awesome and if
