Here are some photos and Hi-Def Movies from the Death Valley Fall Double Century of October 24, 2009 which took us 197 Miles to Stovepipe Wells, Scotty's Castle, into a brutal headwind in Neveda, up to Ubehebe Crate, and a final challenging climb up to Hell's Gate with a million stars all around.

The sunset was magnificent that day and made for a fun movie of me chasing my shadow down the road.

Death Valley is a very, very strange place to ride a bike. It seemed like Another Planet Surface out there.

The California Triple Crown Double Centuries oftentimes take us to Another Planet Surface.
